The NTT Precision Medicine Group (NTT Precision Medicine Inc. and PRiME-R, Inc.) hereby announces that a new study has been initiated by DAIICHI SANKYO COMPANY, LIMITED, based on the results of research utilizing the J-CONNECT Registry, a research platform led by Kyoto University Hospital and supported by the NTT Precision Medicine Group.
The J-CONNECT Registry, for which PRiME-R provides research support, is a Japan-origin solid tumor database compiled from university hospitals, cancer centers, and other institutions. The registry accumulates structured real-world data, including biomarker data, and comprehensively covers data on eligible patients diagnosed at participating medical institutions.
Going forward, the NTT Precision Medicine Group will continue to dedicate itself to the advancement of next-generation medicine through the development and enhancement of research infrastructures such as J-CONNECT, as well as through support for pharmaceutical companies in the utilization of medical data.
